A 501 (c)(3) non-profit, faith-based organization, Resurrection House serves as a day resource center to the homeless of Sarasota County, Florida.  This website will acquaint you with our mission, services and needs. 

The popular notion of a homeless person as a vagrant, someone who chooses to live on the street, is not a current reality.  Many homeless are identified as the "new poor."  These individuals who have suffered crisis in their lives  find themselves on the street, helpless and unable to regain their place in society.

Our range of services includes showers, restrooms, laundry, counseling, medical treatment, food, clothing, veteran's assistance, post office, phone and many more.
